The eHealth Transformation Challenge is a Multidisciplinary Hackathon that brings together students and industry leaders around a specific public health challenge. The 2015 event will focus problem-solvers around the issues caregivers face when coordinating healthcare and community services for those with dementia.
WHAT MAKES THE
eHealth Transformation Challenge
The North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance (NCHICA) will bring together hospital CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, programmers, healthcare providers, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and students to work in teams over a two day period. Our neutral positioning in the industry with diverse membership and Board representation enable us to bring multiple stakeholders together for one purpose: developing solutions for caregivers in NC.
We anticipate several innovative solutions to emerge during the final pitch sessions. We are excited to provide a venue for emerging leaders to learn about existing challenges and develop a passion for providing solutions for the aging community.
Food trucks, photo-booths, interviews and arcade machines are just a few of the surprises we have planned to make this event different, fast-paced and fun.
The eHealth Transformation Challenge is a great event to connect your company with some of the top computer science stars emerging from the North Carolina University System. We are anticipating up to 200 of the brightest minds in healthcare and computing to rally around a great cause in April. We invite you to join us!
